Khmer Pride Keyboard | Android
Delete data (without deleting your Google account)
ក្តារចុចមោទនភាពខ្មែរ (“Khmer Pride Keyboard”), published by Cheng Sokdara, lets you delete app data while keeping your Google Account and (if you want) the ability to sign in again later.
Data you can delete without “closing” Google
- Local My Dictionary entries on the device
- Cloud My Dictionary backup in Google Drive App Data (Pro)
- App preferences (theme, haptics, height, learning options)
Steps in the app
- Open Khmer Pride Keyboard → My Dictionary.
- Delete individual entries, or clear the whole list by removing each entry you no longer want.
- If cloud backup is on: use Delete cloud backup and disconnect, or delete the cloud backup then stay signed out / disconnect as you prefer.
- To wipe all local app data: Android Settings → Apps → Khmer Pride Keyboard → Storage → Clear data (wording varies by device).
What is deleted vs kept
| Data | After you follow the steps |
|---|---|
| Local My Dictionary | Deleted from the device when you remove entries or clear app data |
| Cloud dictionary backup | Deleted when you use Delete cloud backup in the app |
| Keyboard preferences | Reset when you clear app data |
| Google Account itself | Not deleted (managed only by Google) |
| Play Pro purchase record | Kept by Google Play so Restore can work |
Retention
We do not keep a separate developer database of your dictionary. Once local and cloud copies are deleted as above, there is no additional retention period on our servers for that content.
