Delete account (Google sign-in)
ក្តារចុចមោទនភាពខ្មែរ (“Khmer Pride Keyboard”) is published by Cheng Sokdara. This page explains how to remove the optional Google sign-in connection used for Pro cloud backup and how related data is handled.
What “account” means in this app
Khmer Pride Keyboard does not create a separate username and password on our servers. Optional sign-in uses Google OAuth only, so you can back up My Dictionary to your Google Drive App Data folder (Pro).
“Delete account” here means: disconnect Google from the app, remove the cloud backup for this app, and remove the app’s access from your Google Account. We do not host a developer-side user account database for this product.
Steps to request deletion (do these yourself in the app and Google)
- Open Khmer Pride Keyboard on your Android device (Settings or My Dictionary).
- If cloud backup is connected, use Delete cloud backup and disconnect (or Disconnect, then delete the cloud backup if still available).
- In My Dictionary, delete any personal entries you no longer want on the device, or clear the app’s storage / uninstall the app to remove local data.
- Open your Google Account third-party access settings, find Khmer Pride Keyboard (if listed), and remove access.
- Optional: uninstall Khmer Pride Keyboard from the device.
What is deleted
- Google connection in the app: removed when you disconnect or clear app data.
- Cloud My Dictionary backup (Drive App Data file for this app): removed when you use Delete cloud backup in the app (or when Google purges app data after access removal, depending on Google’s systems).
- Local My Dictionary and preferences: removed when you delete entries, clear app storage, or uninstall.
What may be kept
- Google Play purchase records for Pro (if you bought Pro): kept by Google under Play’s policies so you can restore a purchase. We do not receive your full payment card details.
- Email you send us for support: may be kept as long as needed to answer your request, then deleted or archived according to normal mailbox practice.
- Data Google holds as your account provider (Drive, Play, Sign-In): governed by Google’s privacy policy, not stored on our keyboard servers.
Retention period
After you complete the steps above, we do not retain a server-side copy of your My Dictionary or Google sign-in profile for this app, because that content is not hosted on our servers. Local data is gone when cleared or uninstalled. Cloud App Data is gone after you delete it in the app or remove app access as described.
There is no additional developer retention period for account profile data beyond what remains briefly in device caches until you clear or uninstall.
